GAME RULE INFORMATION

The Blessed have the following game statistics.

Abilities: ... are very important.

Alignment: Any, as long as they remain within one step of their chosen diety.

Hit Die: d8.

Class Skills:

The Blessed's class skills are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Knowledge (arcana, local, the planes, religion) (Int), Profession (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int). In addition, they choose any 3 other skills as in-class. See Chapter 4: Skills in the Player's Handbook for skill descriptions.

Skill Points at 1st Level: (4 + Int modifier) x 4.
Skill Points at Each Additional Level: 4 + Int modifier.

Class Features:

All of the following are class features of The Blessed.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Blessed is proficient with all simple weapons (or Basic weapons and one weapon group), and both light and medium armor. Note that armor check penalties for armor heavier than leather apply to the skills Balance, Climb, Escape Artist, Hide, Jump, Move Silently, Pick Pocket, and Tumble. Also, Swim checks suffer a -1 penalty for every 5 pounds of armor and equipment carried.

Spellcasting: Spellcasting is baced on Wisdom. The maximum spell level you can cast is your Wisdom -10. Your bonus spells cast per day is based on Wisdom and your spell save DCs are 10 + spell level + Wisdom modifier. Spells are chosen when you gain a level based on the table. These spells are cast as divine spells, meaning they often need a Divine Focus and have no arcane spell failure chance from armor. Metamagic feats (with the exception of Quicken) raise the casting time to 1 full round. Quicken has the normal effects.

Spells per Day and Chosen Spells

Domains: At 1st level, pick 2 domains from those provided by the diety. The domain spells are added to your known spell list, and you gain the domain ability. At 13th level, choose one more domain.

If you somehow have all of the possible domains, you gain nothing. If you have already chosen spell(s) that duplicate the added domain spells, you may choose replacement spell(s) of the same level(s) from the cleric spell list. If they are of different levels, the higher level one is replaced.

House Rules on Domains

Turn/Rebuke Undead or other Faith Ability: At 1st level, gain the Turn/Rebuke undead (like a cleric, including alignment restrictions) or any feat that requires ONLY Turn/Rebuke Undead and/or Extra Turning. If you choose a feat, you gain 3 + Cha. Mod. "turn attempts".

Bonus Feats: At 5st , 9th and 17th levels, gain Augment Healing, Domain Focus, or any divine, faith, sacred or turning related feats.

Ascension: At 20th level The Blessed becomes a native outsider. They gain Damage Reduction 10/ (good, evil, law or chaos; plater's choice, although the alignment must be opposed to part of the dieties own). A true neutral diety's blessed may choose any. The Blessed's melee and natural weapon gain the alignment opposite to the damage reduction vulnerability for purposes of damage reduction.
